Proof it is working — in English

Every month, a short written verdict on whether you got more clients — the four numbers that matter, what moved them, and what we are doing next. No impressions. No forty-page PDF. Including the months it went the wrong way.

Why most reports tell you nothing

Impressions are not clients. Sessions are not clients.

Agencies report the metrics that always go up. You are paying to find out one thing: did more of the right people get in touch, and is that trending the right way?

What the report does differently

Four rules we hold ourselves to

It leads with enquiries, not traffic

The first thing on the page is how many people got in touch and how many booked. Traffic is only ever mentioned to explain why that number moved.

Every number gets a sentence

Not a chart to interpret. A line telling you what happened: you moved from #4 to #2 after six reviews landed, and that is where the extra four enquiries came from.

The bad months are reported too

If enquiries fell, the report says so on the first line and explains why. Sometimes the answer is that you did not answer the phone — and we will write that down too.

It ends with what happens next

Three specific things we are doing before the next report, and anything we need from you. Next month's report opens by telling you whether we did them.

A typical agency report
“Impressions up 34%. Sessions up 12%. Bounce rate improved to 46%. Average position 8.4.”
Yours
“Fourteen enquiries, nine booked calls. Four more than December, and they came from the map.”
#2↑ from #4
Six new reviews landed in January, which is what moved you past the two firms on John Street.
14↑ from 10
Nine of the fourteen came through the map pack. That is the direct result of the position change above.
Down monthNovember
Enquiries fell from twelve to nine, and it was not the marketing.
Rankings and traffic both held. Of the twelve people who rang, five got voicemail and three of those never called back. The system delivered them; the phone lost them.
We have turned on the missed-call text so nobody who rings gets nothing.
Before the next report we will
1Publish the two guides on company formation
2Add Callan and Thomastown to the town pages
3Tighten the follow-up on unanswered enquiries
From you: approve the two guides. That is all we need.

Site live, Google Business Profile claimed and rebuilt, review requests switched on. Nothing here is a result yet — it is the starting line, and we are writing it down so every later month has something honest to be measured against.
Next month: get the review engine producing, publish the first two guides, and add the four surrounding towns.

“We are accountants. We read numbers all day and I still could not tell you what our last agency's report meant. This one is a paragraph and four figures.”

“The November report opened by telling me we had a bad month and that it was our fault for not answering the phone. I have never had a supplier do that.”

Curious about the reporting?

Take a look at our FAQs to learn more.

Forms and calls placed through the site and your Google profile are tracked directly. Where somebody rang a number they found elsewhere, or walked in on a referral, we count it separately and say so — we do not claim referrals as ours.

Yes, and on the first line rather than buried on page four. Click through to November in the sample above — that is a real down month written the way we write them, including the part where the cause was the practice not answering the phone.

Then the report says so and explains what we are changing. If three months pass with no movement we will tell you that on a call rather than in a document, and we would rather lose the fee than keep sending reports that say nothing.

As much as you like. Every enquiry, every ranking, every page's traffic sits in the portal underneath the summary, and it all exports. The one page is the default, not the limit.

A call whenever you want one, at no extra cost. Most practices take one at month three and then only when something changes — which is the point of writing the report so it does not need explaining.
